The Wood River Trail is a 20+ mile paved, multi-use, year-round path that provides a non-motorized connection between the Wood River Valley communities of Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley.

Explore the Wood River Valley by foot, bike, or skis on the Wood River Trail, a 20-plus mile paved non-motorized path that stretches from Bellevue to Ketchum. Known to locals as “the bike path,” the Wood River Trail is a popular way for residents and visitors to enjoy the beauty of the Wood River Valley while learning more about its history.

The BCRD also maintains fishing access points along the Wood River Trail and in other areas throughout the Wood River Valley. Maps for public river access can be found at all local sporting good stores throughout the Wood River Valley, and at the BCRD office on the Community Campus in Hailey.

Sheep herds will be moving off their allotments and using the sheep driveway and Wood River Trail to move south out of our valley throughout the next month. Please be aware it is possible to encounter sheep on the Wood River Trail.
